Is cinema your passion? Would you like to discover how one of the most exciting cultural events in Poland is made? Help us create the upcoming edition of the OFF PLUS CAMERA Festival, held between April 16-25, 2010 in Krakow.
GET INVOLVED!
We are just starting the process of reviewing applications for the third edition of the Festival. We are looking for people interested in helping us before and throughout the event. Being a volunteer means working with a dedicated team of professionals on every aspect of festival production– from promotion through the organisation of every detail of the huge event to theatre entrances and guest service. We give you the opportunity to look behind the scenes of one of the leading Polish film festivals. With your help and dedication we hope to make OFF PLUS CAMERA 2010 a time to remember!
CAN I BECOME A VOLUNTEER?
Yes! We are looking for outgoing and open-minded people for a variety of positions. We are counting on your enthusiasm and motivation, and you can be sure to get our patience and support in return. Volunteers from Krakow, other cities and from abroad are all welcome to join us.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Although volunteering means no financial benefits, it's all about gaining unique experiences and meeting new people. In exchange for your help in creating the Festival, we'll give you an opportunity to work with experienced staff, a chance to make new friends and challenge specific tasks. It's more than just about learning – you will find yourself in the midst of things. You will be part of an exciting event on the cultural map of Poland. Come and support independent cinema of a new quality. You will get entries to festival screenings, a volunteer's welcome pack and a chance to meet talented filmmakers who have been invited to the Festival.
WORK SCHEDULE
The amount of time you'd like to devote to the Festival is totally up to you. You construct your own schedule, and indicate the number of hours and days that you want and are able to work as a volunteer. If you choose to volunteer for the entire period of the Festival, you will get free entry to all the screenings. If you don't have that much time, we'll be happy to have you with us even for just a few days. We do want you to see films and take an active part in the Festival program. Our cooperation will be organised in a way that will make it possible for you to do so.
